The Future Foundation is excited to announce the start of a new partnership with a South African based Non-Profit Organization, Ke Nako Youth Development.

Formed in August 2014 by young like-minded professionals with a vision to provide career guidance, motivation, and skills development to the youth of South Africa. Their vision is to the improved education levels, school infrastructures and access to information to schools based in rural and township communities. Since its formation, it has delivered over 200 projects such as reading clubs, to various high schools in the North West, Limpopo and KwaZulu-Natal provinces of South Africa.

Sharing the similar values, The Future Foundation is excited to see where this relationship will take us as the opportunities to help the youth South Africa is endless.  Michelle Boshoff, Trustee and Head of Humanities from The Future Foundation stated that “working with Ke Nako is exciting as the passion and drive of all its members to help their fellow South Africans is so infectious making you want to go above and beyond for all the learners in their schools.”

Having attended the schools Ke Nako is helping, they, more than anyone, know the challenges these learners face on a daily basis just to get to school let alone complete education. Khaya Zondo, Managing Director of Ke Nako, attended Hamu High and speaking to him you know the school is very close to his heart.

We look forward to achieving great things working side by side with Ke Nako helping the youth of South Africa.
